Just to let you all know the "Mera/Ferrari" has been sold to a collector in Norman OK. If you see her on the road wave for me. Thanks for all your interest!

Congratulations but I feel as bad as you that you had to let it go (especially since we are almost neighbors). I just couldn't find the time to ride up and get a picture in it like I wanted.....dog gone it...........
Is the collector going to drive it back to Norman or have it shipped? I have a riding buddy that is the local ops manager for Ply-Con/ Ply-Car that ships exotic cars across the country if he needs a contact.............

Hey Karnut,

Very sorry to hear of your turn in health (I've been away for a while). I remember you posting a few years ago that you bought it knowing that you were heading toward an ongoing health problem and wanted to go for it while you still could. Sounds like you really got the enjoyment out of it that you wanted.

All the best and good luck.

Hi Styles,
Yeah the health thing is an on going battle, some days are better than others but for the most part things are OK. This is funny though, I sold the 308 replica, and bought a 1978 Mercedes 450 SL, white with tan interior. It wasn't until after I bought it I realized I had bought the twin to Rick's Car! I guess I can't kick the Magnum connection.
Also, I just settled a major copyright lawsuit that I had against a large company here in the US. It's taken me 20 years of my life but is at last over!
We are now doing the "Bucket List Trips" and the first is California and on to Hawaii, and you can bet there will be photographs. Will check in later on how to find Robbins Nest.

Just wondering how the trip went. Maybe you posted the pics and stories in another thread? I haven't been here all that long, so maybe I missed it.

Hope your health is good now!
