I remember seeing a picure of the bottle opener TM uses a while back, I can't track it down. Can anyone post a pic. or point out the forum where the pics are?

I think(?) he's talking about the bottle opener, Magnum kept on top of his little fridge. He would grab a bottle, and the opener would always be on top! Dosen't it have a long brown handle(plastic or wood?). I have an opener I've kept on top of my fridge since the 1980's! He did wear one(metal, just for bottles) around his neck in the Mac's Back episode! Aloha P.S. I googled, Thomas Magnum, then pulled-up images. In the photo's, there is one of Magnum with an opener around his neck!
It's got the rounded top, to open bottles. On a post in this forum, you can go to e-bay and see openers for sale. It's the one at the top, which has already been sold!

Magnums bottle opener is a Spill Stop model # 13-206. You can google spill stop 13-206 and it will pull them up . They run about 50 cents, but the shipping is what gets you. 1 or a dozen it's about ten bucks to ship.
I guess I'm wondering, why all the fuss? Magnum used that opener in one show! Wouldn't you rather have an opener like the one he kept on top of his fridge, in the guest house?
I ordered one of the bottle openers the other day, I wanted one I could take on adventures. Now I'm interested in the one in the guest house on the frige. Does anyone have a picture of it?
Screen used replica for under 3 bucks! And something you can actually use. These things can be found by the ton at dirty flea markets. The have advertisement slogans stamped into the sides of them. I think there from the 40's.
In, 'Letter to a Duchess', Magnum gets 2 beers for him and Vivian. They are sitting on the couch when he opens them. You can see the long, wood,handled opener, which is still the only one I've ever seen him use in the guest house.
