Anyone remember those famous nut dishes used in so many episodes of our favourite show?

Ummm..."technically" or otherwise if any of these items are seen in an episode then I guess I would give some sort of credit to their authenticity.steveadl wrote:^ ^ ummmmmmmmm have you seen how many 'screen used props' from Magnum PI are listed on eBay (or lots of other shows for that matter)? Don't want to put a downer on it for you, but there are hundreds all from the same seller(s) and the most obscure items eg. cigar dish, reading glasses, candle holders etc etc ad nauseum.
Unless technically they were in the far background out of focus of the camera, I seriously doubt the authenticity of these items.
Just saying...
Any photos MaiTai? Maybe someone's spotted it in an episode.MaiTaiMan wrote:Either way, I love Hawaiian/beach/tropical clothing and items...so the necklace goes well with most of my shirts. The idea that it supposedly was in some way part of "Magnum, p.i." makes it that much cooler to me. It also was not that expensive...if it had been hundreds of dollars or more I would not have bought it--"authentic" or otherwise.
Ya know, I went back to my ebay account and tried to copy the pic and/or the properties of it, so I coud post a picture here...but it wouldn't let me!Styles Bitchley wrote: Any photos MaiTai? Maybe someone's spotted it in an episode.
There are several ways, but the easiest would be to use the "Snipping Tool" in Windows Vista or Windows 7. If you have XP, you can download a free program called Greenshot, which does the same thing. Basically, you can highlight anything on your screen and it will magically turn into a photo you can save.MaiTaiMan wrote:Ya know, I went back to my ebay account and tried to copy the pic and/or the properties of it, so I coud post a picture here...but it wouldn't let me!I'm not that computer savy...so maybe there's another way?
