Magnum P.I. holds a lot of meaning for me. I loved it when it first aired (well, when it first went into syndication in the later part of the 80s is when I began to understant how good it was), and it's been one of my few constants throughout my life. The emotional episodes still hold weight and the lighter episodes always put me in a good mood.

Part of my love for the show comes from the many memories I have of watching this with my late father. He had a stroke and sometimes couldn't remember what episode he'd seen, but if I brought the show up he'd say, "Remember when Magnum shot that guy in the back?!?" I could almost guarantee my dad would ask that question and we talk about that episode endlessly.

I can go a year or so without seeing an episode, but then I'll get voraciously crazy for one.. and then another! It's just like chips!

Well I own the complete MPI and I love this show because of all the reasons stated above, But for me It brings me back to a simpler and happier time, But I also Own season one of M*A*S*H and to me this one of the best shows ever also, But My wife owns all the seasons of Charmed she just loves the girl power stuff lol
