Becoming Magnum

Becoming Magnum: Reality Web Series
"...Follow one man's journey to lose 120 lbs., sharpen his acting skills, and get himself cast in the role of Thomas Magnum in the upcoming Magnum P.I. movie."
The website and the trailer look great, real high-quality! The trailer cracked me up! :)

Wow. That guy sure has put a lot of work into that site. I must admit, I like the idea of watching TM's life before Robin's Nest. Surely his departure from the military could make for an interesting story.

Wow...that's my ultimate nightmare...

I despise no actor more than I do Nick Cage. And if he gets casts as Magnum for the movie...

Oh, Lord have mercy, no no no no no....

I hear suicide is painless.

Nicholas Cage is a good actor, but he's no TOM SELLECK. Not even close!
I just don't give a damn!

He's a so-so actor at best IMHO. Usually depends on the director. But, yes, he's certainly no Tom Selleck. Not even close.

Please dont let it be Nick Cage! He is definately not Magnum! The only movie I really recal liking with him in it was "Leaving Las Vegas".

Imagine how some of Nicholas Cage's movies would be if Tom Selleck had starred in them instead!
Like "God of War". That would be a trip!
I just don't give a damn!

Nicholas Cage?
Come on, it's a joke!
It's a joke, isn't it?
Tell me it's a joke!

I don't think the "Big Shots" of the Studio have the right director too.
"My guiding principles for the adaptation are these: no short shorts, no cameos, no moustaches."
No moustaches? So no Magnum!
I don't think will see this movie ever.

There is one TM and that is Mr. Tom Selleck.
Is it so hard to understand?
"Zeus, Apollo, get out of my Ferrari!"
"Mr. Masters' Ferrari"

Regarding Nick Cage, the "Becoming Magnum" guy started the project back when Cage was (briefly) mentioned as possibly being cast (a couple of years ago). I wouldn't worry too much about it. Nobody has been cast yet.

Two actors that drive me crazy that have both been mentioned are Cage and to me, even worse Ben "Danny, get me to a plane" Affleck. If we can't have the original cast, I would rather root for this guy and have a cast of hungry unknowns that are also fans of the series............
