A clue? This subplot involved one of the most touching things that Thomas...and TC and Rick...ever did for Higgins. At least in my opinion. The look on Higgins' face when he realizes what Thomas has done almost makes me cry.

OK, Carmen. I'll get busy on my "looks" again. Will let you know when I get Season 4 done. I don't think there's as many as the series progresses so maybe it won't take me TOO long. Then we can compare notes.

Oh, and Sophia...I've listened to Man From Marseilles again...with the volume turned up so high that both of my cats bolted for the bedroom! This is what I hear...

Jean Claude: Stop! Wait! Right there!
Carol: What?
Jean Claude: Your eyes!
Carol: My eyes?
Jean Claude: Oui! Your eyes!
Thomas: What's wrong with them?
Jean Claude: Nothing. They are exquisite under the light...right there.
Carol: What's he talking about?
Thomas: Your eyes.
Jean Claude: The way they set perfectly in your delicately sculptured face. The way your mahogany orbs so fetchingly...
Thomas: Mahogany orbs?
Carol: Don't interrupt!
Thomas: Mahogany orbs?
Carol: He's being poetic. Like Milton or Keats
Jean Claude: Yes. Like Milton or Keats. I'm sorry. I have so much trouble with your language.

I don't know, Sophia. You MAY be hearing voices! Hey! Maybe you're hearing THOMAS'S little voice! That wouldn't be so bad, would it?

:)

Wait a minute...am reading this over for typos and it occurs to me...are you talking about when Thomas says "What's the matter with them?" He's off camera right there. But it didn't sound particularly soft to me...and it did sound like Thomas.

?????

Better go see if I can convince Emily and Elizabeth to come out from under the bed!!

:)

I know it is the one where they pretend the estate, helicopter, and everything are owned by Higgins (at least that has been my hunch since I have seen the quote) to impress his friends from Sandhurst, but I can't remember the name of the episode.

Thanks Doc. I couldn't come up with the episode name to save my life! If you have a good quote you can put it out there for us.

Agatha,
I went back and watched the scene, and on mine it sounds like he says
"Whats wrong with her?" I think it is Thomas too, but it sounds like it might have been added later. His voice sounds different.
Oh well, every time I watch an episode I see or hear something I didn't notice before.

No no, my friend!

Any quote I put out there gets picked up in 4.5 seconds. I named it b/c I want YOU to submit.

:P

I'm just good at solving!

That's a great little scene right there. "Yes. Like Milton or Keats." :)

Isn't that the truth, Sophia! And it's AMAZING to me because I've watched some of them...mostly Seasons 1 - 4...many, many, many times! Just the other day I noticed that in Mr White Death, Ms Jones has a nameplate by her window that says Ms W Jones. I'm checking with James to see if that's a flub because in Ms Jones, her first name is Madelon. But what's amazing to me is that I've NEVER "seen" that before...after all this time!

I guess that's part of what's so fun about this site!! Fun...and amazing!

Hope you're having a good day!!

I'll have to watch that this weekend, Agatha.
I think I'll have to do like you and write things down, it's impossible to
remember everything we want to remember about each episode, isn't it?
I'll have more time now that the baseball season is about over, now I can spend a little more time with Tom.
I did recently watch Lassiter and High Road to China.
If you haven't seen these, you should. I thought they were both great.

Have a great weekend
sophia :D

I haven't seen Lassiter yet but High Road to China is my 2nd favorite Tom Selleck movie...right behind Quigley Down Under!! My, Oh, My!

A great weekend to you, too, Sophia!!

lol, Carmen!

How about this one while we wait...?

Higgins: But it was my responsibility! I should never have allowed the lads to go on without me!

Doc and IKnowWhatYoureThinking...I hope this is OK with you.

Do it to it, Agatha!

I think this is a pretty good one, there's a number of different episodes this could pertain to.

I think I know it though.

If you think you know it, why don't you tell us, Doc? Or are you being nice enough to let poor Carmen have a shot at it? She's been waiting so patiently...
