must contact who ever we need , to atleast show the intrest of getting a reunion show in the works. the og cast may not get the movie deal ,but atleast they can give us a 2hr or so reunion show... before its too late.. who can get the ball rolling? thx!!!

Hillerman is definately out. He will not do any screen appearances anymore.

Just a note to the newer members of this wonderful site...

We "older" members have discussed the movie at length and, although we're pretty discouraged about anyone making the movie we want, we certainly don't want to pour cold water on the creativity of a newer member who just MIGHT figure out how to make it happen!

I suggest you check out the discussion...and the lengths that some of us have gone to (Way to go, Golf!!) to try to influence the "powers that be"...on the Movie Talk topic.

I should have been clearer. I'm not here to quash any dreams, and am definitely up for a movie... especially moreso with the orig cast. I'd even take a made for TV movie!

(Actually, would probably PREFER one)

I'd prefer the tv movie as well, and I'm not sure I'd want to see anything without Hillerman on board.

Me, too, as far as a made for TV movie goes...especially if the EXCUSE for not using the original characters is that it costs too much to make a regular movie and "our" guys aren't that big of a draw. Pish tosh, I know, but that's what I hear that they're saying.

Grrrrr!
