Forget the cameras, James. Let's figure out what's up with T.C.'s scarf.

It's hard to tell but TC's camera is a medium format camera and looks like a Hasselblad.TM's is a 35mm with a motor drive but can't tell the make.

In "Three Minus Two", if I remember correctly, didn't Higgins refer to it as "Mr. Masters' Nikon"?

I remember that too. But I just scanned through a bunch of images of Nikon's from the era and none of look like either of those.

TC's camera could also be either a Mamiya 645 or a Mamiya 6x7. Again, it may be a Hasselblad too.
His flash is for certain is a Vivitar, probably a 283. I use Vivitar flash units and own the 283. I switched to the 285 for my digital camera.
The 35mm SLR is probably a Nikon, simply because it is the type referred to most often in MPI.

LOL!
Remember though, he was in character here. He was "Mr. Alex", the chic photographer (a photographer who doesn't know anything about "back-lighting" and "neutral colors").
