Hmmmm. I would have voted for Tanaka rather than Mac if he was on the board when I voted. I love seeing the interplay between his Columboesque style and Magnum's.

Yes he was. It's only a brief scene, but it is Jeff MacKay.

Yep...I've posted this before, this is what Mackay posted.

In the pilot, I played a guard at the 'Pearl' gate. Just a couple of lines
that were originally intended to get me to Hawaii. We shot it at the back
gate to Universal Studios!

Well, OF COURSE, I'm going to vote for Agatha...now that I can! (Thanks, guys!) Carol would be my second and then Lt Tanaka.

Although...I just watched Way of the Stalking Horse so Ice Pick has a warm place in my heart, too...today!!

:)

PS - Ever notice how we can't seem to JUST PICK ONE???

Actually, I considered Agatha, Carol, and Mac regulars and not recurring characters. But that's just my twisted thinking.

Interesting to see how Mac is far away in the lead. He was a really enjoyable character and I loved his sense of humour, especially when he became the con artist we know as Jim Bonnick. It's also interesting to note just how much Magnum always thought about Mac, he obviously cared very much for him all throughout the rest of the series.

Is it true that Jeff McKay was related to Robert Redford?

Mac is my favorite. He was entertaining, although annoying. One of those "friends" that you would punch out once in awhile, lol.

I almost picked Buck Greene for the same reason you posted.

I picked Assistant District Attorney Carol Baldwin. I think she had a close relationship with Magnum. She was more than a friend, she was like a family member. Some of the better episodes involved her.

I love Agatha and she lent very much to the show's enjoyability but I voted for Tanaka. I enjoyed him very much. He was a type of foil for Magnum which put him on the top of a very strong heap.

I enjoyed all of the characters mentioned. Buck Greene even is appreciated for his bad cop foil to Magnum even though he is unlikable.

The pride of St Louie also gets a mention from me. He was the vision Magnum saw in the mirror as his future self. I know there is an acting term for this but I cannot remember what it is.

Buenos noches. It is time for a macho taco.
Who's Dot Matrix, and what has she got to do with this?
