Unfilmed Episode: Something Borrowed, Something Blue

I just asked Peter Ishkanian (former MPI film editor) about how the seasons worked with regards to total number of episodes produced. He said that each season had a set number of episodes to be filmed and that goal was ALWAYS met for each season (so they never had to drop an episode because of production delays). This would mean that these unfilmed scripts were never greenlighted for production. Still, they must have made it pretty far in the submission process. They probably were one of the last ones cut going into the respected season. Why "Forbidden Island" was cut and "Mixed Doubles" greenlighted, I'll never know.
