You'll know him right away, he has that kind of face. At around the 17 minute 25 second mark when McShane is in the airport, he appears sitting against the wall reading a paper next to Eric Braeden, blink and you will miss him. He makes for a great bad guy on Magnum, I wish I knew his name.
Here he is:

Initially I was thinking Peter Kalua, who was in several episodes:

but now I'm thinking you may have meant Robert Apisa?

But I'm actually not sure the guy in Code Name: Diamond Head was actually in Magnum. Looks like a different guy to me.
Thank you for the photos, ENSHealy, I rate you right up there with another legendary ensign who just passed away, PT-73's Ensign Charles Parker.
Yes, I was thinking it was Robert Apisa from the photo you posted. I may be wrong but I still think he is the extra in the airport.

It's interesting, until I googled him for that response, I had no idea about Robert Apisa's role in the desegregation of college football and that he was an MSU legend.

Interesting stuff.

I was in Jersey City last week, and thought about walking to see Frank's birthplace in Hoboken, but it was pouring rain so I turned back fairly quickly. Have to put it on the agenda for next time, although I gather there's not much to see anyway.

Hi ENSHealy,
Cool, that Apsia is an interesting guy, Jersey City not so much. Hoboken has many bars/music venues and you don't need Robert Aspia as a bodyguard if you are out
and about in the early AM. And that little park in On The Waterfront where Eva Marie Saint and Brando have a 'moment' is very much exactly the same, at least it was
the last time I was there 20 years ago, it's a favorite for cinema buffs to visit the world over.
Jersey City is the site where in 1864 Abe Lincoln's college student son Robert was trying to buy a train ticket home during Yule time when the pressing crowd
surged and pushed him up against a train car that had just started to move.
Robert's lower half dropped down into the tiny space between the car and the platform, his upper torso now wedged and soon to be crushed by the swaying
carriage of the train car.
Quick as lightning an incredibly strong passenger seized him by his coat collar and yanked him up in one go. His rescuer was a man most people consider the
greatest actor in American stage history, Edwin Booth. Older brother of the future murderer of Abe Lincoln, John Wilkes Booth.
Cue Rod Serling.

Great classic episode.

Magnum was so mean to T.C. with his scam. So funny (and mean).

The music scene when they’re descending the mountain I always loved.

Also get a kick out of the Higgins dummy on Thomas’ back on the way back up.

All around awesome episode.
Knocking my rubber chicken or my sloppy habits is within the rules, but you're attacking my character. I would like to think you don't mean that.

It's one of my favorites as well, and Digger is my favorite "magnum girl." I never noticed that it's a dummy on Magnum's back - I'll look for that.

Fourth Wall.

Fast forwarded to try to find it. Twice.

Having trouble.

Unless it's at T.C.'s airfield but I don't think TM is looking into the camera.

Thanks.

I've been using your breakdowns.

Thought you had listed one.

Why is someone always trying to kill Robin? Why are the bad guys going through so much trouble to get some manuscripts for a trashy novel?

Wasn’t the novel expected to reveal something negative about some company? I haven’t seen it in a while but I recall there was something in there like that.
