Next to David Rasche's Sledge Hammer, I'm probably the world's biggest Clint Eastwood fan, but at his age the term "Dirty Harry" could take on a whole new (and quite unpleasant) meaning.James J. LMAO! I loved Sledge Hammer too! At that time I had a supervisor that was the spitting image of David Rasche! Everybody called this guy "Sledge" and he hated it, so of course we just did it all the more.....BTW, David was in the movie An Innocent Man starring our hero TS!Next to David Rasche's Sledge Hammer, I'm probably the world's biggest Clint Eastwood fan, but at his age the term "Dirty Harry" could take on a whole new (and quite unpleasant) meaning.

If it stars Ashton, I won't be watching it. Not that I hate him or something, but... nobody can replace Tom Selleck as Magnum, and Ashton doesn't even come close.

yeah i saw this ashton kutcher stuff today. how can an ex model play a private eye or war veteran.
I´ve sent this thing to a few people before but here goes. my idea and it´s not an idea for the script more than a plan to get the film made the way we want to.
O.k so here is the idea. Sean Connery made another bond film called
never say never again. It was not made by the owners of the bond
franchise. They were not able to use the theme tune or call him 007
but he was still able to play James Bond. Especially since Sean
Connery was the original bond. People argue about who is the best
bond. No one argues about who is the best Magnum or Rick or T.C.
What if Tom Selleck was to make a film or T.V movie and it wasn't
called Magnum P.I and it didn't have the theme tune but it was about a
detective living on a tropical island and that detective was called
Thomas or Magnum. Same characters but just a bit more vague with the
details. It wouldn´t even matter if they didn´t live on a tropical
island any more. After all, you can´t break up the team. Wherever one
goes the others would be sure to follow. Would he drive the same car
probably not. Would he still be staying in the same guest house as a
60 year old man, probably not. Lots of details would have changed as
the character naturally progressed through his life which would make
it perfect for this scheme.
I might be clutching at straws here but surely if they can do it with
the worlds biggest movie franchise then they can do it with Magnum.
Any ideas how we can help make this happen?
