Not exactly news, as that was the intention all along - to give the fans 1 more season spread out in 2 parts.

That's me running to pick up where I left off on classic MPI season 4. Only to stop and realize how futile my endeavor is.

Would not be at all surprised to learn that it gets picked up by one of the streaming channels/networks.

I never liked it from the start, but I gave it a fair chance, and in later episodes, it did tend to stand on it's own merits TO A DEGREE. They screwed up with the choice for the lead, AND making JQH female....among other things.

I just think, like I have from the beginning, it should have been called something else and been a little more original in character names, scenarios, etc..

It basically just rode the shirttails of the original....the only things the same were the character names and the setting. It had potential, but NOT as an actual "remake" of the original. JMHO

No glee. Just horsing around. I stopped even caring after our initial venting (perhaps irrational) between the reboot announcement and about halfway through season one.

It could have continued another 5 years and I wouldn’t have given it much thought. I’m a “mature mature adult” afterall.

I really didn’t care for his casting at all. I wasn’t bothered that much by making Higgins female. Honestly, in the few episodes I actually watched, I thought the actress who played her was the best performance in the show. My sample was quite small though!

Then I just viewed it as bad cheesy modern fan fiction.

It’s like what Disney did to Luke, Leia, and Han (maybe that was worse because they reprised their roles). You’re pizzed for a while with what they did to the iconic characters of your youth and then you just refuse to watch.
