Hmm. Wonder if they're targeting 20-something women? Makes sense that they'd like it, I guess.

They will target the demographic with the most advertising dollars to spend. Selling ads is how these shows make money. As we all know, that's why Magnum drank Coop's instead of Coors: so CBS could sell advertising time to Budweiser and such.
I'm way over 20, but Hernandez is certainly nice looking. Not my type, but I'll give him that much.

I'd like to know who this bc-64953 is. I bet my nice shoes she--yes, she--was probably the age of -20 when the original Magnum aired. Yes, I'm biased because I grew up on the original, but how can someone have watched that show Monday and honestly say it was better than the original? It wasn't horrible, but even if it does turn out to be better, you cannot say that after one episode compared to a series that ran eight seasons. She sounds like a network tool.

Well, I will be turning 64 on Friday and I found the reboot and especially the new cast enjoyable. I haven't had the time to try and get my 20 year old son and 60 year old wife to watch the reboot yet and get their opinion as they never were big fans of the original and only tolerate my passion for the show so they can make fun of me, my too short-shorts and Hawaiian shirt passion...
