It will be interesting to see what they will do with the lads.
RG posted a pic in the CBS general thread that we have going that shows Lenkov and Co. with what looks to be plush Rotties or some real bad looking Dobermans.
What does everyone think will happen...... will they go with Dobies, Rotties or???
Also will they go with the original names Zeus and Apollo?
Maybe the Lads will be Lasses with Greek goddess names....Athena and Aphrodite ....god, I sure hope not!

My vote is for the original version.....Dobermans named Zeus & Apollo...they don't need to mess with that part of the show at all.

Some time ago, Peter Lenkov posted this photo. So for sure to be Dobermans. And as Peter is fan of the original, I'm sure they will be called Zeus and Apollo.

It looks like we might have our answer - the right one too!!

I forgot about it, but some time ago, there was a video from the Higgins casting (not with Perdita, but a little-known actress), in which Higgins mentioned Zeus and Apollo. Video has been deleted. But we have confirmation that the dogs will actually be called Zeus and Apollo, as in the original.

I read that the lads were on set yesterday in Kahala, and they were dobies.

I wouldn't have minded Lasses instead of Lads. Something subtle to distinguish classic and reboot, not that there isn't enough already, but also because Zeus and Apollo were also played by a few actresses as well.
