Tuned in tonight for a change.

It’s now 9:41 and I’m watching a Last Man Standing rerun.

I’ve narrowed it down to basically being Jay Hernandez.

Still think he’s just an awful actor (so wooden) and was a terrible choice for “Magnum”.

Otherwise, “Higgins”, “T.C.” and “Rick” are okay. Show may have had some appeal to me.

The plots in this remake are completely ridiculous.

Agreed about Jay Hernandez.

I continue calling it "MINO" -- and if it wasn't for the "M" in the name, I wouldn't even be watching this show.

Since I have started watching the remake, I have come to two realizations:
1- The original show was even better than I realized, and
2- The original show cannot be made today.

On #2, it has to do with the target audience. Today's 20- and 30-somethings just wouldn't wait through the slower pace of the original show. They don't want the drama, the buildup, the jokes, the relationships, and the character development.

As I said, if it wasn't for the title of the reboot, I wouldn't even be watching it. I simply don't find it to be good entertainment.

If you have COZI TV on your system they show the OG Mon-Fri at 0700 CST and on Sundays two shows back to back at Noon CST.....

I'm amazed at how much TC and Rick's sun rises with Magnum in this series, and this episode took it to another level. Magnum wasn't the only one put through prisoner hell thanks to Hannah, but all those two can think about is Magnum's feels. Not about getting some payback of their own but making sure Little Magnum Pooh's doing alright...

My guess is there will be all kinds of twists and turns involving this woman as she was or is part of the intelligence community. I'm also betting that here will be a huge fight between this woman and Juliette Higgins as they can't really have huge blow out fights between her and Magnum....

I think you are right, I don't think we've seen the last of The Ex.

I have a question about TCs wings on his Marine uniform at the beginning of the episode...shouldn't they be aviator wings (one anchor in the middle) vice flight officer wings (crossed anchors)?
