Then I was wondering what he tied off his rope to when he exited from the air vent. Not much to tie off in there!
You're not supposed to pay attention to that sort of thing! haha

Anyway, I saw this episode as an homage to the first in the original series, where Magnum swam up. The astute reader might remember that that scene is my favorite from the entire original series, and while I love that original scene, I didn't like this Mission: Impossible version.
Sorry Eagle, but I can't help it.
If they had Jay anchor the rope to the section he was swinging from before he entered the duct I would've been more accepting. Yes, it's not as exciting or daring, but way more realistic for someone just checking out a security system. I know that I'm not risking my life for small consulting fee!! I found it funny they had him doing these ninja like moves at the beginning, but when it came to exiting the duct he needs a rope to get down a few feet....Where are the ninja moves now?

I agree the first scene of the original series is one of the best scenes.....having said that, the depth of the tidal pool water was actually quite shallow where he exited and he could've stood up a little sooner and walked out, but that would've ruined the shot....sorry....like I said, I can't help it.  I can live with it as that's just splitting hairs, but Jay's M.I. scene was too much!
