Okie dokie, here they are...

OK, this time I really did find T.C. Today I saw that Steelo is still in L.A. so I started my investigation again

T.C. is being played by Stephen Hill. He looks familiar to so many of us because he has been in many shows, including a small part on Blue Bloods. Here he is getting his beard on for the POW scene for the pilot:

Yes. Finally, we found out who will play T.C. He is similar to the actor from the photo in the restaurant. What about his filmography. He usually played one episode roles, but a few clips that I saw looked encouragingly, he's a good actor. Now we have to wait for the official confirmation of the casting.

PS. Now actor posted photo at Hawaii Film Studio, another sign that he will play T.C.

I can't find anything on where he is from other than he went to Hampton University in Virginia. A DuSable pin, a Kaepernick pin and a MLK -shirt. He will embody T.C as Mosley would wear hats and shirts from HBCU's (of which Hampton is), he has some acting chops as well....I found this audition video on you tube..

Thanks so much JJ, Kenji & Steve for the kudos .... I'm glad others are enjoying what I've discovered. What I keep wondering is why haven't they announced Stephen Hill yet? TC is as much of a key player as Rick/Zachary Knighton (imo), but things may be different this time around? He's obviously on board so I don't understand the delay. Strange.

My guess is there is no "Ivan" by name, or at least there shouldn't be as Russia wasn't actively (at least openly) supporting our enemies in Afghanistan. If they want to be true it should be an Iranian. But do they really want the first show to be Magnum shooting Amir in the face? That would cause a PC ruckus.

I agree, it might not be Ivan, but he could be Ivan like which I stated earlier. Lenkov did use Wo Fat in the HFO reboot though so we can't rule it out. He obviously wants to make a statement for the show right out of the blocks by picking this caliber of storyline (assuming the storyline is even close to the original - a total guess at this point), but it would probably do the trick in getting the reboot picked up. In the original series pilot (pt.2) they end the show with Magnum killing Philippe.....granted it wasn't in cold blood, but it made for a good ending as did the Ivan scene. I think there will be a Russian connection no matter if they were openly involved or not because nowadays everything involves Russia including elections. "Amir " would work too, but the Russian factor ties into the original show and today's ongoing news so I'm leaning in that direction. It's fun to try and figure it out before it's even on the screen, but they are all guesses with the little bit we know....I'm sure Lenkov will want to put his own spin on this story so it won't be exactly the same as how the original went down. A good writer will keep us guessing and surprise us with something we are not expecting. Looking forward to seeing what they put together and don't worry Conch I haven't defected to the reboot side, as there is no way it can trump (bad choice of words) the MPI original - no way. Good, bad or ugly, I'm willing to give it a try as it is MPI related and it allows us to discuss MPI topics that are going on right now instead of the ones we have discussed over and over in great detail regarding the original. If it flops, it flops, it's not the original, that's untouchable! At least for now, we have some new topics to discuss like a 488 etc.. Hang in there Peter! Getting back to "Ivan/Ivan like", "Amir" or ?, I was even thinking they should have this possible villain getting away so down the road he could come back in more episodes (assuming that is the case) and maybe then he gets a well deserved shot to the head. This way they get some more mileage out a good storyline. Lenkov did that with Wo Fat, but I think he could've stretched that some more minus the half brother story they put in there (UGH). I hope Lenkov's wrting is up to par with this show and he keeps it real and not far fetched like he did with some of the storylines on HFO (i.e. Kamekono owning a multi-million dollar helicopter while peddling shrimp out of a few trucks on the beach comes to mind -OMG- brutal)! Okay, I've rambled on enough there Conch. I'm guessing you will be drinking a lot more at Flemingo Keys this fall! Great bar you have there Peter!!!!

I am really liking Stephen Hill and Zach Knighton... I hope they get a lot of screen time.

Besides "Ivan", there are a lot of other characters that could fill the villain role. In particular, I always wanted to see some true resolution to Quang Ki (Season 8, Unfinished Business). The last we saw of him, Ki is getting on board a UH-1 Huey, being exchanged for a POW. I felt that particular story wasn't even close to finished, and the character Richard Narita played, certainly as they say in Texas, needed a bullet. Of course Milton Collins (Season 7 Death and Taxes) could be a constant protagonist, as a serial killer with constant taunting with his nursey rhymes, while destroying Magnum's enemies. The Kiedash brothers (Season 4 On Face Value) could be another source of villainy. There are plenty of bad guys that Magnum dealt with in 8 seasons.


BTW, if we have a new LT. Tanaka, who will be the new Carol?
