Hi Steve,

I forgot to set my dvr but I was able to see the show on the CBS web.

Although it appears to be close to the Anderson estate,I don't think it's all that close

If you remember, the houses on the stretch don't have any homes across the street. When Kono finds the body in the freezer, you see behind her is a driveway,a house and what seems to be a small road.I think the location is somewhere along the orange area on the map.Red dot is Andersons.

The MPI connection this week is a filming location. The opening night time bar and the daytime bar scene on the big lanai,is the same lanai TM meets "The Marchese" in season two "Italian Ice".

Okay,I think I found the house,it's on Laumilo between Alaihi and Manana which is in the area of the orange strip from my previous post.

The first pic notice the house across the street, curve of the driveway and the fence behind Kono marked with green arrow.
Second pic is the house across the street.

Third pic is a streetview of the house, again notice the driveway.

The last shows the green arrow(fence by garage) orange arrow is the fence when enter the property. Also the big tree is visible in the scene.
I'm convinced it's the right place. What say you?

I'll check Steve but for some reason I'm thinking he was in Lanikai.

Finally an actual reference was made to Magnum!!!!
Steve and Dano are questioning a P.I. and Dano holds up a bunch of pictures that the P.I. took and Dano refers to him as Magnum to get his point across.
Nothing other than that, but a good tie in.

I caught that. Also, I loved the Hawaiian shirt that Chin had on and I think the final scenes where Steve and Dann-o confront the serial killer on the cliff were filmed in the area of the stairs seen in J. Digger Doyle............

I too caught the Magnum line.

Steve..Once the cars got off of the highway they were on Pali Dr.The Pali Dr. was used in the pilot MPI and shown in the opening credits.

The Pali ends at the lookout and just down and to the right is the old Pali Highway...I'm pretty sure that was the filming location for the ending.

With Wo Fat now in the picture, you never know, the estate might still be his home, time will tell. A long shot at best, but it would be great if they could pull it off!!

We all know how Magnum would borrow very expensive things from Robin like the Nikon, Ferrari etc., etc. to help solve the case he was working on and usually that item was damaged or destroyed AND we also know that Magnum was known for his IOU's.............Well the latest Steve/Thomas tie-in has Thomas WELL behind Steve!!!! Steve "borrows"
(more like steals) $10 MILLLION - yes $10 MILLION from one of the police lockers to save the life of Chin, well things didn't go the way they were planned and the $10 million went up in flames - , now Steve has an IOU to pay off that would be even too deep for Thomas to fathom!!!!
I was just waiting for Steve to blurt out to the Governor "Wait, I can explain everything"!, but he didn't, nor could he tell the Governor .
I can already see a storyline on how he gets $10 million to pay back his "IOU" to the State of Hawaii and it has WO FAT written all over it!

A thinner, younger and better looking Wo Fat. I suspect he will be more evil than the orginal, lets just hope he has the same Lair........
(I'm lovin' this new version)

Hey Steve,

I enjoyed that last episode (a couple of good twists).
I liked your comment about a thinner, younger and better looking Wo Fat.
They should've named this character NO Fat, son of Wo Fat  [/quote]
