I heard this on the news this morning and haven't found anything to confirm it yet (but then I haven't looked yet):

Nancy Reagan attended Charlton Heston's funeral in Los Angeles yesterday "on the arm of Tom Selleck."

With the NRA connection for both Selleck and Heston, I can certainly understand his attending. But to be asked to accompany the former First Lady is quite a compliment to TS, don't you think?

Absolutely! That just speaks to his integrity and standing within the non-Hollywood community. I just think he's too much of a class act for Hollywood and he continues to amaze me!

A Google search seems to confirm this, but all the different reports show the same picture and use virtually the same text.

Funeral coverage

I agree with SL -- of all the stars in Hollywood, and TS is the one who is by Nancy Reagan's side. That says a lot.

Selleck has some serious clout with conservatives in Hollywood. For a while it was thought he'd step in for Heston with the NRA.
