Magnum Mania!

This is completely random, but i stumbled across a pic pointing out that the 90s era versions of Disney's Chip & Dale dressed like Magnum PI and Indiana Jones.




And, as every Magnum fan knows, TM was up for the role of Indy.

Interesting tidbit, that I'd seen before, but never took the time post.

As you state, probably coincidence, but non-the-less, sort of demonstrates the influence of what's on the screen, ending up in our lives....somehow.....now where was that thought train going......much too involved for me to get a handle on, much less explain, but, I'm sure you get the drift!
