To me the audio tape surfacing (I heard it back in the mid-eigthties as well) just further proved the love and bond between Paul & Linda. James is correct, Linda was maligned almost as much as Yoko but Paul stood by her and made her a part of Wings so they wouldn't be separted when he was on tour........Still, it sure is funny!
