“Criminal Minds” showrunner Ed Bernero is developing for CBS a new version of nework’s 1968-1980 drama “Hawaii Five-0,” about a fictional state police agency charged with protecting the citizens of the nation’s 50th state.

The new series will center on Steve McGarrett’s son, who has exactly the same job his dad did.

CBS, which is also developing a remake of "The Streets of San Francisco," loves cop shows!

It'll be interesting to see what develops with this as well as with The Streets of San Francisco.

Hope they have Wo fat or his off spring to be the nemesis on the show and it would be truly special if they used the Anderson Estate as his Lair.....

I just hope they do justice to the show. I'd hate for them to do something too over the top and it be a real stinker.
