Things like the Magnum PI Movie have made me very dubious of projects dubbed "very preliminary." Often I think it's just a ploy for authors/websites to get attention. However, this one seems (seemed) legit. Too bad it never materialized. Sounds like they had some pretty cool ideas. I'm sure Selleck would have had some cameos.
