Magnum Mania!

You may remember him as a certain millionaire guest star from Season 3's "Of Sound Mind"? He's in town here a lot and he was filming Battle Star Galactica. I recently saw him from a distance attending a set watch of the prequal series the BSG crew is filming (can't remember what that show is called at the moment). When I was in elementary school, our class met him and other cast members when he did a popular local crime fighting show called Danger Bay back in 1985 while touring the Vancouver Aquarium. Course I didn't know about MPI back then......

I know the people on set of BSG who see him often. I would like to meet him and ask him questions about his 1 popular stint on MPI and how much he must have enjoyed himself. It will take a bit of time, but I'll post what I come up with.

DaVinci's Inquest is a pretty good cop show, haven't seen a lot of it, but I enjoyed each one I saw. Not sure if any of you guys have checked this one out. I think it's much better than Law and Order, which has really started to drag on too long.

Danger Bay! Classic Canadian television, my friend.

Funny, he's one of those actors I know in a second when I see him, but the name doesn't even ring a bell.

He's always visiting Vancouver and it's the 2nd time I've seen him from a distance. I've gotta try to get to him and talk about his role on this show. Will need to discuss this with the people I know on the set of that new Galactica series. He's not in this one, but must be helping out or advising or something.

Danger Bay was a classic, but I'm sure it had a low budget appeal. Not something that's likely to make it to DVD and probably didn't spread to many other parts of the world, but it went for quite awhile.

IIRC he was in a couple of Mission: Impossible episodes.
