Hey, I read Tom's neighbor is trying to sell.
You know, JF.
Let's all get together and purchase this place.
We could get some pointers from Tom on growing avocados.
It has sixty acres and a large house.
Come on, I sure we could come up with $15,000,000.
We better jump on this venture, who knows Tom might decide to expand.

Sounds like fun to me! Like a "hippy" commune in the 60s where we could all share in the work and sit around the TV watching Magnum at night. Or in the summer we could sit around a campfire...singing and drinking wine. Maybe Tom and Jilly would hear us and come visit. We wouldn't make/let Tom sing, though.
Sigh.
As my Swedish Grandmother would say..."If wishes were horses, beggers would ride."

Agatha,
I quess it will be just you and me.
It sounded like a good idea, or it could have been the high fever I have had this week while home with the flu.

Hi Ladies,
I am getting over a cold as well, guess its going around...
Who is 'JF'

by Agatha
JF is Jamie Fox, Miss Q.
Somewhere on this magnificent site there's a discussion about where Tom Selleck lives. The point was made that his avocado farm is next to Jamie Fox's avocado farm. And they talked a bit about the two of them suffering damage to their trees...hmmmm...during the winter? Or from a wildfire. No, I think the wildfire discussion was that the fires did NOT come close to the Selleck farm.
Hope this helps. Sorry about my foggy brain. And I haven't even been sick!! Just old. If you want to look, I
think this discussion was somewhere in the Tom Selleck thread.
PS - Do you think "farm" is a proper term? Don't you grow vegetables on a farm?

Agatha,I am feeling a little better, thanks.
Hope your feeling better, Miss Q.
Agatha, I think Tom prefers ranch.
Miss Q, are you in on our little venture?
If so, each of us only need to come up with 5 million dollars.
We also need to come up with a name for our ranch.
Any ideas?

Yes...of the two, I'm sure that coming up with a name will be the most difficult!
How about Adelaide Avocado Adventure? Nah. I'll have to think about this...

Yummmmmmm!
Sixty acres...there ought to be room for a garden. We could grow some tomatoes and some cilantro and some onions and some peppers. Let's make our own Pico de Giao...Gayo...SALSA, too!

Sounds like a plan Agatha. We will have some awesome sides for our Macho Tacos!

Are you in, too,
IKnowWhatYoureThinking? Hey, ladies! We get to divide that 15 million one...more...time! We're down to 3.75 mill each!
I can see it now. Sitting around the TV after a hard day's work in the avocados...eating guacamole and salsa and tortilla chips and Macho Tacos...and watching Magnum DVDs!!
Life doesn't get any nicer than that!!
PS - Is it OK if I bring the boys? I don't know how much of that sixty acres is planted in avocados but alpacas don't need a lot of room...five of those acres would be PLENTY for them!

Oops. I forgot the beer. We'll have to have SOMETHING to wash all that good food down!

Hops!! We could grow our own hops!! I have a friend who's husband grows hops! We could ask him about it!
And then, of course, we'd have to build a brewery. Hmmm. I wonder if we'll need to pull out some of those avocado trees to make room for all of this!!
