Ron Masak who was the 'shur-iff' in MSW and played JJ Stein in Skin Deep passed away Thursday.

I keep remembering more Lansbury performances. I forgot her wonderful role in my favorite Hercule Poirot film DEATH ON THE NILE from 1978. Great film with an excellent all-star cast but of course the scene stealer as always is Poirot himself, in this case the incomparable Peter Ustinov - best Poirot ever! Actually EVIL UNDER THE SUN (again with Ustinov) from 1982 was just as great!
