Mr. Selleck has been around for a while, so I would hope he would have some wisdom by now! Not to say that all people that have been around for as long as he, has wisdom. I think he is very realistic toward his career, and he knows that you can only "burst on the scene" once. Very few actors are working 25 years later at that level. He works steadily as an actor and I've heard him say in an interview that he's "just thrilled that people still want to see me." (There's that TS humility again!) This is JMHO!
