Does anyone know...? (looking for an episode)

Is it my imagination or was there an MPI episode where a little Hawai'ian boy drowns in the ocean and the storyline is of the aftermath of such a tragedy. I keep thinking it was in season 1 or 2. I do know (if this really is an MPI episode) it was early in the series run. One reason I ask is that I seem to recall there was a very, very attractive Hawiian actress in one of the guest starring roles.
...or I am just imagining this...

Wow, season 6. I was pretty far off. I thought it was earlier in the series run.

You know what, this is not the episode or actress I was thinking of. I am thinking of Elizabeth Lindsey, from the episode "Lest We Forget".

...and another thing, I was right about it being from Season 1. She was also Miss Hawai'i 1978. Well deserved in my opinion.
