Help me remember an episode

I seem to recall an episode that opened in a San Francisco warehouse. I have a vague memory of Ice Pick being there and think it might have been set in the '40s. There was a shootout, if I recall correctly.
Looking over the episode guide I think it might be "Death by Night" but not sure.

You might be thinking of Limbo, which starts with a shootout in a warehouse in Honolulu. Magnum is shot and is remains unconscious on the warehouse floor.
Murder by Night has an opening scene of waves crashing on rocks (in black and white) quickly followed by interior shots of the library, which is in the San Francisco house, of the murder victim. The next scene is Magnum's 1940's office.
