Some people may or may not remember this car. It was the 308 GTB prepared for Group B racing. It looked and sounded AMAZING!

You'd think Robin would have gotten one of these as much as he liked getting new 308's when they came out!

And if the show had gone past Season 8, why not an F-40?

Surely, Robin had a spare $400,000 sitting about? Must admit the 288 GTO is a much better looking car, however :)

Sweet car! It looks like there were only 277 produced. Even Robin would have had a hard time procuring one of those babies!

Hey Coops, is that the Evoluzione model?

Both of those are very nice. However, I haven't seen too many Ferrari's you could go wrong with.

Sadly, there is one thing wrong with both of them: they only come as a coupe (berlinetta).

Now the dilemma....do we cut the top off the car, or somehow shorten Magnum to fit the car?

I think the bottom car is an Evo but I'm not sure.

If this was the real world, would you be willing to provide a new Ferrari for an estate security guard??

I wouldn't. I might allow him to use the first one that was already there, but after he wrecked it, that would be it. No more Ferrari. He would have to provide his own transportation.

On the other hand, remember what TM was driving in Dream a Little Dream?? His old VW bug?

Perhaps he always had a Ferrari in order to have "reliable" transportation.

The 288 was also 4.3 inches longer in wheelbase so I don't think TM would have had a problem with his 6'4" frame. I used to work with a guy that was 6'5" and he had a '95 Camaro Z28. He fit in that with room to spare.

The 288 GTO was build in 1984 and 1985. They made 200 of them, only 20 for racing the rest were streetcars. It was related to the 308, but only slightly. The "new" GTO was made to honor and remember the 250 GTO from 1962, one of the most famous Ferraris ever (and my very favorite) From 1962 to 1964 only 39!! 250 GTO were build. In 1962 and 1963 the GTO won the GT-worldmastership and Ferrari wanted to follow with this new one. But there are not too much similarities beside the name, for example the 250 GTO had a V12 frontmotor, the 288 GTO only V8 middle-motor. But I have to agree with you Coops, the sound was great - for a V8
