In season two's episode, Try to Remember', there is a scene where Magnum is driving beside the main entrance to the main house in the Audi. Higgins is standing in the door. As he walks out of the door you can see inside the real house and the green wallpaper with the large palm fronds that were visible in the pilot episode can be seen. This is the only episode I can think of where you actually see something inside the real house except for the pilot episode of course.

Can you guys think of another such sighting of the main house interior?

I seem to remember a scene from Don't Eat The Snow In Hawai'i. It involved Higgins talking on a phone and you could see that green print wallpaper behind him.

That's about it for the main house. In "Who is Don Louis?" you get to see inside the boathouse.

There are several episodes of Hawaii Five-O that featured scenes shot inside/outside the Anderson Estate. "Forty Feet High and It Kills" (S2), "Sweet Terror" (S2), and "The Second Shot" (S3) feature some good looks inside the main house.

Yea, it was great seeing inside the boathouse in 'Who is Don Luis...'. I wonder what is inside the part where TM pretends to live? Also, I wonder why they made such a cool porch with teriffic ocean view? I bet someone lived in that place at some point.

James, have you tried to contact the owner to get a history of the house?

When I am in Honolulu next, will go and make a search of the Estate records as I am interested in knowing exactly when it was built, previous ownership etc.

Have a friend who works for the Bishop Museum and knows a lot about Oahu, so mean to pick his brains as to what the whole area might have looked like in the days prior to the Estate, when the tidal pool was first built.

Sorry, but I hated that leaf covered wallpaper. It sounds like it was all over the house. Hopefully Eve Anderson has had the house redecorated since that time.

It' s a bit different of this thread but I remember an episode where we can see a small shed for garden tools and we can see the estate owns a John Deere mower like this one :

There's another great Hawaii Five-O episode from season four called 'Cloth of Gold' which was filmed largely inside the Anderson estate. This was actually the first Hawaii Five-O episode I ever watched and it aired right after Magnum, P.I. WWOR Channel 9 used to run these two shows back to back in the late 80s early 90s.

I'd missed that the dvds for Hawaii Five-O seasons four and five are out. I think I'll get those and make screencaps of the estate, as I did before.
