Aside from Michelle, who would get your vote?

I'd go with Cynthia Farrell, they had great chemistry.

Aside from Michele? I'd vote for anyone else on the planet Instead of Michele.

LOL. Definitely instead of Michelle.

I always thought Carol and TM would have been good but perhaps more on Carol's part. But there can only be one for me and that's Cynthia Farrell. They were great together, or tried anyway, and Dana Delaney is a fox.

Icepick,

There are several here who thought there was NO chemistry between TS and DD, but I like DD too -- ever since China Beach, and really liked her guest-starring role on "Moonlighting."

I think Carol liked TM a lot, but I think he thought of her as just a friend. So if we have to pick someone he interacted with a lot, I vote for Maggie Poole. Though frankly I'm an Annie Potts fan too and I thought her character would have been a good foil for him. To me, it seemed he always had more chemistry with a female he never actually kissed. For a "sex symbol," he really doesn't play love scenes well, IN MY OPINION. Just the "lead" up to them, as shown by the growing affection shown in "Quigley Down Under," for example. Or, for another example, Bess Armstrong in "High Road to China." The anticipation was better than the actuality.

If anyone else sees what I mean . . . .

Maggie Poole...spot on! golf, your analogy is great.

With Dana Delaney it's probably more on my part....lol....I love her. In a perfect world it would have been cool to have had a China Beach - Magnum connection. One can dream :D

I think TM had great chemistry with "Lani" the temp maid in the episode, The Aunt Who Came to Dinner.

I'm just saying.... :D

I think Maggie is a good choice as well although Cynthia would have worked well for the timing of the show. Putting her in towards the end would've made an easy transition.

I may not have used the best wording for that....I just wanted to clarify that I meant any ladies from the show who were NOT Michelle, as I imagined that would be every one's first choice 8)

And yes Icepick, I agree. DD is a total fox, she is like the dream girl next door or something. Pretty but down to earth.

My aoplogies. I figured everyone would get that that was a dig at Michele. I didn't like her. She used TM, and ripped his heart out it seemed delibrately at every oppertunity.

Jonny,

In case that was too subtle -- Michelle is far from everyone's first choice!

Fun topic. I don't like Michelle (imagine that). TM cared about her way more than she did about him and she knew it. Not a good place to be in a relationship! He needed someone outgoing with a strong sense of humor. TM needed to share that great sense of humor with someone...and Michelle was not a good match.

I loved Maggie Poole. She was adorable. You could tell the way she looked at him she really liked him. Was he blind or what? lol

My less obvious choice would be Connie from the Raider's spoof episode. I just watched this the other day and thought her sense of humor matched TM's. I loved her! Plus, she's gorgeous and really tall. :)
