For those of you looking for the infamous "GET WET" hat with the flying "D" there is a source for it. I bought two on my last trip to Hawaii in June 2021. Go to the Downing Hawaii and call 808-737-9696. They are open from 10 am to 6pm Hawaii time. Ask for Keone Downing he is always there on Wednesday he has them in stock. They are NOT on the web site so you have to call him. Yes it is that easy and they are sitting on the shelf. I had been after him to have them made up for the last five years and they are finally done. Yes this is where Tom got his back in the 80's. You're welcome Aloha.

That hat pictured was the prototype, the new hat does have the flying D. They will be getting more with a variety of colors for the D. All I asked you to do was call the shop. But that was way too hard for you sleuthing dim wits. This is the perfect example of my theory that 80% of the public is just plane stupid.

Seriously though, no need to lose your temper here. I think people will get it touch if they're interested. Just thought it would be nice to see what you bought. Even if it's just to know another Magnum fan a little better.

Once someone saw the Instagram picture of the hat in the shop who would think "well it might be a prototype. I'll call the shop to ask if the hat they posted isn't really the hat they're selling".

Seriously. Who calls anyone any more? And who travels all the way to Hawaii to buy a cap? I just messaged Keone on Instagram (about their Tiger Stripe camo cap, not the Get Wet cap). He replied in a few minutes, answered all my questions and told me how to order the cap online. I placed my order on their website in less than 5 minutes. The cap was delivered to NC from Honolulu in a couple of days. It arrived safely in a cardboard box. I then sent Keone a thank you email. Easy peasy. Seriously, who calls anyone any more? BTW, Keone is awesome. Very courteous and professional. Just DM him on Instagram or shoot him an email.

And one more thing: it is spelled plain, not plane.

I emailed them yesterday and asked if they had any of the hats in stock and was told that they currently have the Get Wet hat with they gray "D" logo available. I asked if they have plans to produce any with the pink "D" logo and was told "Probably closer to Christmas."
