I know probably most of us have seen Bridge on the River Kwai (classic), and may have watched it again more recently while thinking about Higgins' time in Burma, but there is another great movie about POWs working on the Burma Railroad, and it is also a really compelling story about dealing with PTSD, and reconciling with a former enemy and tormentor. It's called The Railway Man, starring Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman. Based on a really touching true story.

I looked up the trailer on YouTube. Looks intense. I may have to give this a watch. https://youtu.be/bbS_dYEwf2M

What with Vietnam having been very current in the 1980s, we tend to focus on TM, TC and Rick, but I am sure Higgins had his own difficulties he had to deal with, at some point. How can one not.
