Ending tally on solved cases?

Has anyone here ever added up how many cases Tom actually completed or solved through out the shows run? And if so how many actually paid? I know there are a few episodes where he is given payment or has to go get it. It would be interesting to know.

I've never seen mention of solved cases on the forum. Cigars smoked? Yes, but cases solved? Not so much...

I haven't seen it either.

I know I started tallying a few things myself - did the choice of hats involve any foreshadowing of what the episode would be like - (an excuse to rewatch the series differently) but I lost my notes when my phone crashed.

I can think of some other interesting stats.

How many fights did he get into?
How many times did he lose rights to the Ferrari/wine cellar/tennis court?
How many beers did he drink?

Lots of things come to mind.

By the way, here's a link to the final episode review done by member Jay-Firestorm, where he tallies Magnum's seventeenth and last cigar smoked. Jay wasn't here for a long time, but he made an amazing contribution, doing a lengthy review of each episode and posting them in the appropriate episode thread.

Those are excellent reviews by Jay. I love how you can get something new everytime you watch the show, I believe I'm going to start the series over in the next litte bit and start some lists. I've always wanted to do a Higgins charity list as well and a count of "Oh My God"s. Any other ideas?

I think it might be easier and quicker to find out how many cases TM did NOT solve.
