Magnum Mania!

Here's how it works: We post a picture of one of the show's many guest stars. The picture of the actor needs to be different looking (older, younger, wearing makeup) from when they were on Magnum. The first player to correctly guess the actors identity, the episode(s) they appeared in, and their character's name gets to post a new pic. If no one guesses correctly within 24 hours, the poster can start giving clues.

I'll get things started with a fairly easy one. I'm about to hit the hay, and I've got a long day at work tomorrow so I would imagine that this one will be solved well before I'm online again. So, if you guess it, there is no need to wait for me to confirm. Just go ahead and move to the next pic.

Along with the actor's name, maybe you'd also have to pinpoint what episode they appeared in and what their characters name was?

Thanks to LG's clue, it's got to be Geoffrey Beevers who played the "Mortuary Attendant" in season 6 episode 1 "Deja Vu".

Removed picture, cause I'm not sure it's the picture that should go with the name. There are more than one of them listed in all the places that track such facts and trivia. I'll have to come up with another name or a different picture, and so far, haven't had much luck with that.

If somebody else has a new pic they want to post for all to ponder, please feel free to do so.

I think you actually got it right with the picture you had before. It's of Mel Carter, who played the DJ in "Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii".





I had to reverse image search your photo because my curiosity was killing me. It stumped me because he's primarily known as a singer.

I thought it was the same man, but couldn't find a picture among his acting roles listed to verify that it is the same guy that made all the records.

Didn't go through each and every listing of his acting roles, but the ones I checked first and quickly, had no pictures.

Whew! The two fastest replies on here I've ever seen!

For Mel, Wikipedia listed both his famous song "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" and Magnum as one of his acting roles. Plus the only other notable Mel Carter I found on Google Images was apparently Jay-Z's nephew.

And KingKC, great job on Frank! And talk about 70s 'stache! I guess anyone who's seen a lot of Universal crime/mystery shows would recognize him in a heartbeat. Glad he got rid of the 70s hair by the 80s and never looked back.

Looks like Jack Kruschen from season 7's "Laura", where he played Doheny's partner and one of the speakers at the retirement dinner.
