The Encore channel has it right today, July 4, 2016! They are showing "Home From The Sea" at 5:05 pm PDT! A July 4th episode on July 4th! How about that!
There's a chance you might have already seen some of it. PBS is taking heat for running footage from a previous 4th or another fireworks festivity, at least in part - the reason for using archive footage was inclement weather according to a PBS spokesperson.Mrs. Higgins wrote:We're watching A Capitol Fourth on PBS.

Isn't this sorta like re-gifting... too funny.
I just can't with this stuff anymore . . . how can a live showing of a fireworks celebration be buttressed with archive footage? What makes this acceptable? If your local one gets rained out (does that happen?!?) then bring in another feed from another location.MikeS wrote:There's a chance you might have already seen some of it. Just keep feeding the masses empty distractions, keep shoveling . . .
Sorry for the rant. I'm carrying my soapbox around with me today.
