MAGNUM PI and ANIMALS

When I was reviewing Season 1 I mused about two of the early episodes involving animals and was kind of surprised that animals (other than Zeus and Apollo in their recurring roles but not necessarily excluding them) were a recurring theme throughout the show. Sometimes animals were the main plot of the show, sometimes they had a memorable scene or two, sometimes they were the victim, and sometimes they were the villain so I listed all of the episodes I could find that were animal "centric" or animal related.
Ugliest Dog In Hawaii (dog)
Adelaide (horse)
Elmo Ziller Story (rodeo animals)
Birdman of Budapest (macaw)
Old Acquaintances (dolphin)
Paniola (cattle)
Dead Man's Channel (billy goat)
Home From the Sea (shark)
Solo Flight (centipede)
Four shows had animals in their title:
Two Birds of a Feather
A Pretty Good Dancing Chicken
Mad Dogs and Englishmen
Way of the Stalking Horse
Zeus and Apollo also got into the action as more than the lads on patrol or chasing TM:
Zeus and Apollo drugged in Transitions
Apollo shot in All Thieves on Deck
Magnum even got a cat award in Photo Play.
All in all that is 16 episodes or about 10% of them. It is amazing how eclectic MPI was! If anyone else knows of additional or unusual animal presence in an episode I would love to hear about it.
