It looks like the whole season of Archer in 2016 will be Magnum P.I. themed - like they did with Miami Vice.

Really hope it is magnum themed but I remember the Top Gun promo and there was no Top Gun season obviously... have there been any news whether any of the cast will do VO's ?

How could the writer get it wrong TWICE and right once in the same article!?
Makes me feel REALLY old when people in the limelight have no idea who the people I look up to and admire are.
Or just watching one of the "entertainment" expose' shows and me not knowing who ANY of the people are that they are talking about as being those of importance and worthy of adulation.
Sorry, just the musings of an "old" man.
Neat that they are doing the Archer deal that way, kind of a HUGE nod to the show, and to us that love it.
I could see where it might actually stimulate some new interest for folks who otherwise might have never known what it was, not to mention looking up and investigating the original.

If I had to guess, I'd say the reporter was told to do a quick article on the subject and has no clue about Magnum PI. Just did a quick 5 minute research job. Somehow got her facts mixed up - she mistakenly thought Burt Reynolds is the star based on her own assumptions, and in her quick glance around the web it mentioned "Selleck" who she has mistakenly taken as the series creator/producer in her context.
Bad research, and bad proof reading/editing.
