The director, Lawrence Kasdan, wrote the script for Indiana Jones and I think the Sam Weber as JT Lancer was a nod and a wink to Selleck for having to turn down the Indiana Jones part..............

In the movie, they all watch the J T Lancer TV show opening, with theme song, girls, guns, and cars! I tried to find it to post. Maybe someone with better skills can find it, and post it!

Great movie and one of the best soundtracks of all time (funny how the opening sequence of the JT Lancer series has a shameless ripoff of the early cross of lorraine Magnum opening)
