TC's pier and Pahonu

Hi, all.

I assume that CBS never owned Pahonu, that it was always owned by Eve Anderson during the filming of the show, and that they rented it similar to BBC's use of Highclere Castle for the filming of Downton Abbey.

What I've started wondering is: did CBS own or rent TC's pier during the filming of the show? Anybody know? Also, were interior shots of TC's office made on the pier or in a studio? I assume the latter, but I'm not sure.

TC's pier is the Makai Research Pier. During the show I believe it was being used as commercial premises (as it is now), so I would assume the studio just rented it from time to time as required.
