Robin's nest visit today!

Hey guys, been in Waimanalo since yesterday. Walked around sea wall on left of Robin's Nest. Wow. It was 4 hours from low tide, easy peasy knee high in water, some splash, LOL. I got to boat house and was a little bummed at condition but about the same as photos from 6 years ago i saw. Walked up sandy steps to gate and looked up at main house upper deck, and got goose bumps as I saw Higgin's glaring at me in the back of my mind!! Stood there and thought of how many scenes were shot there. The sea wall where Magnum sat and got drunk after Mac got shot has obviously been built up. I highly recommend it, I was in cargo shorts and wife had camera on beach, I will post some photos as we are up the road from the estate. Just check low tide times and have a go. The local is great and if you are a magnum fan a definite plus. Cheers from Oahu, photos to come. I have been to this town 4 times now and this is my first visit, a MUST see!!!

Looking forward to your pictures.
I got a goose bump or two just reading of your encounter!

Enjoyed your description of the experience very much.
If going in person is just not a possibility, doing it vicariously through people like yourself, is the next best thing.
Thanks for posting and sharing.
