I was at college during early seasons and have remained in love with J "Digger" Doyle.

In order to see her even better, do the re releases on single sided discs contain higher quality video than original double sided?

That seems to be the general consensus.... But I think it's more of a playability question than anything picture related. I had some issues with my original DVD player with the double sides skipping, freezing, glitching (Seasons 2 and 4 especially), but with my BluRay those seem to have gone away.
