Magnum the tanned PI

It's sunny there I know but some episodes of Magnum Tom appears to be more tanned then any man who has gone near a pair of speedos. Some episodes he is just white teeth and a moustache! How tanned did Selleck get? VERY!
One scene that often reminds me of this is in a season 2 episode when he visits Mac and tries to bribes him (magnum is in his bright red shirt) with some cakes? I think he is tanned beyond belief in that scene if I recall? Anyway, what's the darkest Magnum gets? Any episodes stand out for you guys and gals?
