Magnum Mania!

To be honest 4 things wrong with this poster. Has anyone identified the brand and name of this shirt yet?

The watch and the ring are wrong, and TM never wore a necklace.

1. No team ring.
2. Necklace
3. Wrong watch
4. Odd gold ring on left hand (his wedding ring?)

I'd say that that body does not belong to the head - they have been photoshopped together.

The body seems to belong to a much smaller person - in worse shape than TS was at that time

Speaking as someone who has been lusting after Tom Selleck for 20+ years, I agree with Bondtoys and don't think that's Tom's body.

The shoulders and hips seem too narrow to be Tom's - though the chest hair is about right!

I think you guys are putting too much thought into this. It's a photo of Tom Selleck, not Thomas Magnum! Not every photo or poster he had back in the 80's, was of Magnum! I'd be willing to bet, that's his everyday clothes, and he just posed for a photo! I'm sure he didn't wear all his Magnum stuff, when he wasn't on the set! Head and body, c'mon!

I don't know how much detail you can see, but the monogram on Tom's shirt says TWS -so obviously an "off duty" shot and he is wearing a long chain under his shirt.

I would say your right. BUT! That shirt is from at least 3 shows in season one alone as is the web belt and tarnished military buckle and blue jeans. The only things that aren't Magnum is the things I mentioned. This is more than likely a publicity photo for Magnum but they just grabbed the cloths and none of the extras for the shoot. So Tom didn't care either.
