Hi, I don't know where to post this so I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place.
I am directing this mainly at the owner/moderator of this site. I am asking permission to offer screen printed shirts for sale.
The shirts are a funny parody of Magnum P.I. I was a fan growing up so it's not meant to be disrespectful, just funny.
the shirt consists of a simple black ink art of Mag's head with with a
full GI tract underneath...esophogus, stomach, liver, small intestine etc. with the title "Magnum G.I." at the bottom.
Don't know if there would be any interest in this or if the owner/moderator would allow it.
In any case I appreciate your consideration and would like to hear if anyone is interested. I designed the shirt for myself but thought others might like it as well.

Well, I am certainly not the owner of this webpage but wanted to give you my 2 cents:
1. Welcome to the board and we hope, that you are having some (private) fun here
2. To use screen shots, you have to have a license to do so
3. To sell Magnum P.I. themed T-Shirts, you need to have a license as well
4. We are a community of fans and collectors. We are hanging around here for fun and not for business. And you?

Sounds a bit more appropriate for a group of residents doing their rotation in a gastrointestinal ward! To be honest, it sounds rather distasteful and I doubt many would get the joke. Really though, without seeing the design it's hard to judge.
Ebay's probably a more appropriate venue for such things.

1. yes I have enjoyed reading tidbits i never knew about the show. thank you.
2. so every single item from jewelry to t-shirts to baseball caps etc that I have seen offered on this site is fully licensed?
3. So to sell something that doesnt have the name "Magnum P.I." (my shirt does not) I have to have a license? I have seen MANY people selling the "island hoppers" shirts which I also print. They are selling them for up to $37 a pop for ONE shirt (including shipping) which i think is highway robbery. Do all these people selling that shirt have a license to do so? is that why they are so ridiculously expnsive? and those shirts are not even a match for the original shirt either.
4. I appreciate that most are here for fun, but Ive seen quite a bit of merchandise offered as well.
again I appreciate your feedback.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. the shirt is not what you would call "graphic" or bloody or such because i would not print such a thing anyway. it is a simple line drawing...like a medical chart labeling each part, something you might find in the doc's office while awaiting your appointment. It strikes me as just a play on words which I think most would find funny.
I would be happy to post the design if I could figure out how to do it. Are the images hosted here? or do i have to host them elsewhere & link to them?
Yes I plan on putting it on ebay soon just to see what happens. thanks.

Hi J.J., I wanted to thank you one last time for the opportunity to post the shirt design. looks like it's caused a problem for several people who have taken it upon themselves to get personal over the matter. I have removed the image because I dont want any further confrontations with these individuals.
Thanks again, it was very kind of you to give me permission...take care. Jim
