Magnum Mania!

I am a big Magnum PI fan, and I have read about a toy car that came with a magnum figure. I hear its rare but I am not sure how rare. I have seen it on ebay a few times but always boxed and over $500, but i am not sure if it sold. I found a guy that has a loose one, i think he said Magnum's arm is loose or broken at the hand. Still would look cool in the car on my desk. He is asking $100 but that seems high. if its a really rare item maybe its worth it.
Does anyone know?

Little late on this, but it seems pretty steep to me. The toy was crappy quality to begin with.
