Vintage MPI Television Promos

Wow, coming up on two years ago I posted a thread with a few old MPI promos I had come across:

http://magnum-mania.com/Forum/viewtopic ... ght=promos

Anyway, I have a few more, and I have them on Youtube (no lame Photobucket viewing). Hopefully you folks will all love them as much as I do - I'm a sucker for old advertising, so naturally I go nuts when I come across old MPI material:

Here's the promo for "All Thieves On Deck", Season 6:

Season 8's "Pleasure Principle". MPI's section isn't terribly long, but you also get looks at that week's episodes of The Oldest Rookie (which I'm not familiar with), and The Equalizer (which was a great show):

Unfortunately, those are the only two CBS promos I have, but I do have some syndicated-airing promos:

"Faith & Begorrah", on Canton, OH's WOAC TV-67. Really rough reception on this one, but cool to have anyway (and this ep is in my top 5, easily):

A 1990 syndicated airing of "L.A.":

Here's a promo from when the series ran on USA. This one hails from 1994 IIRC, and the Higgin's impression never fails to get me!

This one barely counts as a promo, it's so short it's almost a bumper/teaser, but it's still cool to see. This is from 1988 I believe, maybe '87:

This last syndicated promo is from our local RTV affiliate, and it's the reason I waited a few weeks to post this thread, I kept trying and trying to capture this one, and finally got it tonight. Not old at all, but at least someone is keeping the MPI spirit alive (on TV, I mean, cause it's definitely thriving here)!

So, that's those. I also have these promos, which aren't really 'for' MPI, but still somewhat related:

Mauna Loa Macadamia Nuts w/ John Hillerman. From 1989, and different from the "karate" one seen elsewhere on Youtube (also, I flipped when I found this - "HIGGINS!!"):

Here's an ad for TV Guide, and Mr. Selleck as our hero appears on the cover used:

Finally, a promo for Three Men And A Baby:

So, there they are. Hopefully you all will get as big a kick out of these as I do.

Thanks for the clips Lar, really liked watching them. Found it funny that the L.A. promo starts with the Hollywoodstar of Burt reynolds.

LOL yeah, that was pretty funny! I'm not recalling, is that in the actual episode, or was the promo just having a little fun?

Those are all great! Is that not Tia Carrere that give John Hillerman a kiss in the Moana Loa commercial?

"This video has been removed by the user."

I've been looking for the original run bumper breaks that had a still picture of TM standing in front of the Ferrari with Selleck's narration, "Magnum P.I. will return after these messages", and "We now return to magnum, P.I.", or something along those lines. Anyone remember those?

None of those links work for me - it says they've been removed by the user?
