I was cleaning up some bookmarks last night and found this link.I can't recall if I've posted it before or not..If I have...Tough!! :) :)

It's an article that appeared in "Honolulu Magazine" called "Hollywood in Hawaii" Jimmy Borges who appeared in most Hawaii TV shows has a

short behind the scenes story from one of his appearances. From what I can determine the story happened during the filming of "Billy Joe Bob"

TM pulled a funny on Carol "Cry Baby" Little.I'll paste the story and the link for the entire Hollywood in Hawaii article.

Handicapping a Guest Actor
Jazzman Jimmy Borges has appeared in a number of Hawaii-based TV shows. He told me how Tom Selleck dealt with a haughty guest actor on Magnum P.I.

“There was a scene with Tom, Larry Manetti, myself playing a cop and this Actors Studio-type chick, in a wheelchair. She goes off to get into character, comes back crying and gets in the wheelchair. But it doesn’t feel right to her so she leaves, holding up the shot. This happens a few times, so Tom gets a deck of cards and a clothespin and attaches a card between the spokes of the wheel. The chick comes back, weeping, they call action and she starts rolling the wheelchair forward and the chair makes a noise like a propeller. She jumps up, gets pissed off and walks off. It was pretty funny.”

Nice Sam. Thanks for sharing.

Must have been some real hijinks on the set. Sounds like a blast.

Nice one Sam, thanks for the link.

Looks like Honolulu Magazine is a good read so I picked up an electronic copy for the whopping fee of $1.99 :D

Old article now, but check out these estates! Shame Eve Anderson's place didn't make the cut.

Actually trying to work that out now!

Clicking on the current months articles and they only give you teaser before saying 'subscribe' so I bought the issue as I want to read about King Kalakuha's crown. But now I see in the archive section it seems to be open access??

That's alright - only $1.99 down the drain if it does all turn out to be free!

My first wife's Father was a camerman on the original Star Trek. He had stories about Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) that were similar. Apparently she would occasionally get into a diva mode and hold up production asking what her "motivation" was when she was doing a scene with her simply at her console. I hated to hear these as I had a huge crush on her, her mini-skirts, go-go boots and strategically place in her console chair so we young lads going into puberty had a great view.
